Amalfi Coast Weekend

I am slowly starting to catch up in pictures, but last weekend (scorsa fine settimana) I went to the Almafi Coast staying in Sorrento at Villaggio Verde, which consisted of little cabins with lots of grape vines, orange, and lemon trees--it was gorgeous. The weather was perfect and warm considering it was the first week of October, but I cannot complain since I was able to get one final dip in the sea before cold weather sets in. Day 1, ended up being overcast and rainy, which was a disappointment, but it was perfect for travelling to Pompeii, the ancient Roman city forever preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and for travelling to Naples to enjoy some delicious pizza.
